There is a new kid on the block and I am so excited! What do you do when you want extra special paper but cannot find it? Read up, crafty friends – this is one cool story!
Ana Matic, a talented scrapbook teacher in South Africa could not find the paper she desired for her scrapbook convention. Speaking to a fellow student, five words changed the game: “Let’s design our own paper!” Within 6 weeks, Ana Matic and Liza de Jesus launched LA Paper with four new collections and many more to come in the new months ahead.
LA Paper is high quality and encapsulates modern trends. The prints appeal to current culture making layouts on cards or scrapbooks captivating. LA Paper creates themed papers, chipboard, buttons and stencils at affordable prices.
Recently, I was generously given the BirthYAY range of papers and was delighted to play. The high grammage of the paper makes sturdy card toppers while the many sentiments in the pack is perfect for embellishing. I am totally smitten by this range but I cannot wait to get my hands on the Dream in Colour range!
The following cards were created with the BirthYAY range. I am always struggling with cards for guys, so I am so excited that the primary colours in these papers are super accommodating for both genders.
I am a clean and simple card maker. I believe little goes a long way. Take a look at the cards that I made using this range:
Go show some love to LA Paper on Facebook, their super talented, super friendly owners are always willing to help you. I hope you get to create with their collections. If you do, let me know. I would love to see what you have created.
Thank you for reading. Until next time, learn new things and if you can be anything, choose to be a kind human being.
Yours in paper crafting,
The Girl with a Tape Runner
