Giving Good Gifts

Hello.

I love giving good gifts. This week I made two sets of tags for two people very dear to me.

The first set of tags are for my friend Elisha, who just started a baking business.

I used my now famous water colour backgrounds and my stamping has improved.

Water Colouring with Stamping Tags

The next set of tags I made for our Relief Society Stake President, I know she is always giving out notes and tokens to people. I know that she will really need them and appreciate them. I used the same technique, just this time I also embossed it!

Using Patterned Paper

Hello,

I love using patterned paper, however with all the learning that I have been doing, stamping and creating my own backgrounds is now my new favourite.

I recently purchased the Illustrated Faith Paper collection and I am so in love with it. I made some beautiful cards with it. I tried my hand at another card this week.

Here is the card I made using those papers and lots of foam tape:

The next new set of paper that I purchased was the Kaiser Kraft Sea Breeze Collection and I made this card. The topper for the card is not a stamp, it is a piece of paper from a paper design in the collection.

I love water colouring my backgrounds, what I love more is the emboss resist technique on water coloured backgrounds!

Here are two cards that I made this week.

Supplies used:

Making Cards using Illustrated Faith

I love the Illustrated Faith paper collection with all my heart!

These cards were made in one sitting! Can you believe that?

I embossed the background card tops with several different embossing folders then used Ranger Inks to water colour the backgrounds. I used spray mists to do a few splatters too!

The sentiments were from the Illustrated Faith paper collection.

To finish it off, I used flowers and stones.

Thank you for visiting. Until then, learn new things and be a kind human.
